Research
Kaiser Permanente did a study on fasting. They found that many of the people who lost large amounts of weight were getting anxiety and depression and gained the weight back within a year of the study.

The doctor discovered that the age of the emotions that triggered the actions to gain weight was in their teens or younger.

One of the patients told the doctor, “Overweight means over-looked.”

Are your emotions keeping the weight on and having you re-gain any weight you’ve lost?

Please repeat 7-Day Emotional Age Log & Understanding

What is an emotion you feel every day?

What age is that emotion?

What was happening to you at that age?

What did you decide about yourself at that age?

As an adult can you have empathy for the younger part of yourself who is still running your life?

What do you need to do to allow the younger part of you to move toward love and forgiveness?

Lastly, remember that your emotional age that runs a lot of your life is younger than your body’s age. She needs to have some fun.

Do at least 10-minutes of YOU time every day. This is CRUCIAL! Schedule it into your day.

There's Nothing Wrong With You

There is nothing wrong with you!

Your soul is having a human experience.

When you transition out of your body what you take with you is the emotional transformation you experienced because of your challenges in this life.

If you choose not to grow out of your childhood-traumas, you will stay stuck on the roller coaster ride of trying to lose weight.

If you choose to see yourself and accept everything that has ever happened to you and move toward love and forgiveness of yourself and others, you will have a new life in a new body.

Here are steps to do every day:

  • Give yourself a break and acknowledge that you experienced something in your past that has kept you struggling with your weight
  • Discover the age of your emotional body that gets triggered
  • Explore what happened to you at that age
  • Know that part of you will never go away and it’s not supposed to.
  • Understand your life journey is not to make it go away but transform it into understanding, love and forgiveness
  • Acknowledge the emotion(s) that trigger your actions to gain weight and have compassion for yourself. Tell yourself it’s okay to feel this way.
  • Remind yourself what you went through that caused this behavior.
  • Recognize the behavior is not trying to hurt you but instead, it’s wanting to keep you safe and feeling empowered.
  • Tell yourself 3-10 ways you are already safe, loved and in control of your life.
  • Get into nature or put on fun music. Do something to increase your emotional vibration.
  • Have healthy yummy snacks and teas that you can eat that leave you feeling good.

You must choose to acknowledge your life journey and what has caused your weight to stay on.

When you do so and don’t make what happened wrong but just as an event you experienced in this life, you can empower yourself.

Have compassion for yourself having to experience whatever happened.

Know that emotional trigger will never go away but you can transform it into understanding, love, and forgiveness.

When you do that is when the trigger will lose its power over you and you will have peace.

Daily Practices

Mirror Practice:

See yourself before you came here to earth. See how you accepted this journey knowing that you’d have emotional challenges and pain. You knew that your soul would move toward love and forgiveness of yourself and others. It wouldn’t be easy but you knew you could do it!

Say this as you look at yourself in the mirror:

“Today I’m recognizing everything you’ve been through. Accepting it and moving toward love and forgiveness of you and others. You deserve that.”

Allow yourself to feel the truth of your words.

Shower Practice:

As you wash in the shower be grateful for what your body has done for you. For instance, all the times your arms have hugged your loved ones, your hands have cooked meals, your legs have gotten on and off seats, your feet have climbed thousands of stairs and walk miles and miles during your life. Let it be a time of gratitude for what your body has and can do for you. ENJOY YOUR SHOWER! Let yourself Feel Good!

Nightly Journal:

It’s VERY important to get into a high vibrational feeling before you go to bed so you will wake up there! Before you go to bed each night write or say out loud at least one to two things you can appreciate about yourself.

Your goal is to go to bed in a feel-good emotional vibrational state so you wake up there!
